PGP Free Super Moto Day

I usually cover drifting events at Pacific Grand Prix, but on the 23rd PGP held a free super moto lapping day of sorts, and had a HUGE turnout.

Drivers of all age had the oportunity to drive around the twisty track and have a ton of fun while doing it.

Check out all the drivers! Even the owners of the track were surprised at the huge turnout!

Go-Kart intermissions were held all day and kept people buy having fun

I had never covered a super moto event in my life and this was a first. Nonstop shutter action is key, and I was snapping photos all day to try and make sure I got every driver.

It's amazing to see how low to the ground some of these drivers were getting around the tight hairpin turns.

Stopped for a bit to grab a bite and had some amazing burgers. Props to the cooks you guys make some awesome food!

Afterwards I got to the other side of the track where the younger riders were doing their thing.

Some of these young riders had some crazy lines going on! Its incredible to see such skill level in a young age.

This guy has done plenty of work on his scooter, and was passing quite a few of the bigger bikes. He saw my big white L lens and popped a wheelie for me haha.

You can check out all the photos from the event (over 400 since there were over 100 riders) by clicking the link below. Prints are available at low cost and feel free to share and save a copy for yourself/facebooke etc.

I believe pilots of 2 wheel vehicles prefer to be called riders! ;)
