First Hometown Snow pt. 2

The snow is gone, but having a giant snow dump before thanksgiving in Washington is a rare occasion by itself. The above picture is a few hours before I left work on monday, on the roof looking toward Boeing.

What started as a gentle snowfall turned into a wind/snow/ice combo that would turn my normal 15 minute drive into a long 0mph top speed, 4.5 hour quest to get home. A single intersection with about 20 stalled cars who were futzy enough to not put chains on basically backed up an entire city to a deadlock...

Went with some friend to a local park where there was plenty of untouched snow about.

On the way back we figured that if you combine a truck, rope, boots with no tread, and neighborhood streets with half inch of snow pack equals snow surfing. My and my buddy being dragged laughed at the passing head that did a double take as we slid past them.

Here's me with two of my good friends looking like a total futz staring away at my eggnog and rum, I title this picture, "There's fuzz in my drank!"

We invented a new variant of beer pong called Tri Pong, a fast paced insano game which I guess is kinda like quarters but with ping pong balls. Good times.

At this rate I'm expecting another snowstorm, I definitely need to make it up to the mountains and get back on my board. Been way to long.
